Whats a Better Deal E6400 or E6600?

is it worth the extra $100 for E6600

I would say yes, as not only is it a faster processor, but you get the full 4M cache instead of the 2M. To me the 6600 is the best deal for the price out of all the Core 2 Duos.

If you're not going to be overclocking, definitely get the E6600. If you ARE going to be overclocking, definitely get the E6400. The average E6400 is able to do 3.2 Ghz on stock/nearly stock vcore, and you'll be able to spend the extra $100 for better RAM, that will allow for the higher overclock.

Both great processors and will run I think every current game maxed! Well as long as your Ram and Videocard is up to par that is. If you want to go with the $100 you can but in the long run the difference will be minimum. Just remember oneday your PC will be out of shape just like all of my old 5 year old gaming PCs. So going with the better card will give it a longer lifetime. I would do it if money is not an issue.

The Intel Duo E6600 is the better CPU.
