You need some T-Cut!
Wash your Hood First, then Using the T-Cut(On a damp Cloth).
Rub on the T-Cut in Small Circles(Over the Entire Surface of the Hood).
When You have Completed that, Polish off the Powdered T-Cut-The Effect should be a brilliant painted Hood!.
If the paint work on the Hood had deteriorated past this-Then re-painting maybe your only answer!
Hope this Helps!

Are you confident it fairly is oxidation, and not sparkling coat coming off? The previous VW Beetles used to oxidate. the recent autos are sprayed with a sparkling coat. whilst it comes off it leaves a white spot. it fairly is is oxidation then you definately can buff it off with a wax. no count if it fairly is sparkling coat coming off then you definately could desire to repaint and the full area that has grew to become white, no longer purely the spot.
