Does anyone ever really grasps this?

"From the moment we are born, we begin to die"
(Everyone's time is already counting down)

Why do people waste it?

What should we be doing?

Even if we live to be 100 years old -
this just a nanosecond in the life of mankind.

We should make the most of what time we have.

Dance Like No One's Watching

We convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married, have a baby, then another. Then we are frustrated that the kids aren't old enough and we'll be more content when they are. After that we're frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with. We will certainly be happy when they are out of that stage. We tell ourselves that our life will be complete when our spouse gets his or her act together, when we get a nicer car, are able to go on a nice vacation, when we retire.
The truth is, there's no better time to be happy than right now. If not now, when? Your life will always be filled with challenges. It's best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy anyway.
One of my favorite quotes comes from Alfred D Souza. He said, "For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life."
This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So, treasure every moment that you have. And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time... and remember that time waits for no one...
So stop waiting until you finish school, until you go back to school, until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten pounds, until you have kids, until your kids leave the house, until you start work, until you retire, until you get married, until you get divorced, until Friday night, until Sunday morning, until you get a new car or home, until your car or home is paid off, until spring, until summer, until fall, until winter, until you are off welfare, until the first or fifteenth, until your song comes on, until you've had a drink, until you've sobered up, until you die, until you are born again to decide that there is no better time than right now to be happy... Happiness is a journey, not a destination.

Thought for the day: Work like you don't need money, Love like you've never been hurt, And dance like no one's watching!!!! xxxxx

Life maybe short as a whole but there are plenty of days that you feel bored and lazy. Human are not programmed to live as if every second counts. That's just an anxiety. Live with the natural clock of what's given. Sometimes you get lazy, sometimes you get busy. When we were born, time is given as a free gift.
Time doesn't chase you to the final day. You just fill out the each day that you already have.

Life should be lived one day at a time and enjoyed to it's fullest. I too believe that our life on earth is a mere blink of an eye compared to where we will spend eternity....

Finding how you choose to bide your time on earth is a personal decision.... Make the most of it, never look back and spread joy and goodwill whenever possible..

Love your children, family and friends with every ounce of your being.

Laugh often and don't be afraid to walk the path less taken....

but then again, for some, life is just to long. every day an eternity that will not end, tortured by a mind that will not go away. a life that will not stop, a tomorrow that always seems to come back again and again, whether you want it or not.

Yes, of course. A famous quote; "Youth is wasted on the young."
But, I do believe that the spirit is eternal. Something to look forward to.

the point is to use it wisely
a minute can be much more than a month if it's used more wisely in that short time
waste it? i believe people are always learning
except those that are narrow minded, know they are so, and yet choose to be that way
What should we be doing...that is a good question
wat are you doing?

Yes, some of us do grasp this concept. Others are too blinded by greed or self-absorption to understand this until it's too late.

Pity, isn't it?
