Why people hating puerto ricans?

other groups are always discrediting PRicans for our salsa, actors, reggeaton. Don't hate, appreciate.

that really sucks that you get that impression. People from all over the world are different for a reason. People should really learn to appreciate and learn from the differences. I am not sure why people have prejudice against others not like them, but usually it comes from a generalization and a fear from not understanding. People just need to take people as individuals and not a group. the wrapping does not tell you what a present is inside, it hides it.

Never heard of such a thing as dissing anyone as fine as Puerto Ricans. I must be on the wrong coast for that sort of discrediting.

Discrediting people is often done by the young. Children feel so helpless and insignificant that they feel the urge to make themselves larger by attempting to make others feel smaller. That urge coupled with the lack of self control due to their immaturity leads them to verbally bash people. An easy target is anyone who is different.

Studies have shown that by the age of 25 the decision making process moves from the impulse part of the brain to the frontal lobes where we learn things. It seems that some people never outgrow the impulse to express rude comments nor gain the self control to restrain them. But you won't find as many people over 30 dissing other people.
