If there are any foodstall holders out there who have hired foreign workers, I need your advice. I am planning to operate a foodstall soon, and I need to know the procedure of applying work permit. I just want to hire one worker. This is the FIRST time for me to get the licence, what are the necessary things for me to do upon application at MOM? The main thing is my side, what should I do beside producing the licence? I hope you can advise step by step.

I think you have to look for a labour supply agency. Check it up in the "Yellow Page". Information like what type of Nationality and Sex that you required for your type of job. The agency will do for you all the necessary documents like: permit, insurance, bond;etc. Need further information, just let me know and hopefully I'll can of help to you.

You may not able to hired foreign workers under foodstall.
You may need to check with MOM & NEA
