1.) Island in the Sun by Weezer because it makes me happy.
2.) In My Life by the Beatles for when I think that people and the world are hopeless...it makes me happy too, though! Actually, I could think of a reason for every Beatles song to be on my soundtrack because every one of them has tremendous meaning to me.
3.) Everlong by Foo Fighters when I want to listen to a love song that's a little harder.
4.) Jane Says by Jane's Addiction because I like to dance to it barefoot no matter what mood I'm in.
5.) Celebration by Kanye West to get me pumped up to go out and have a good time.
6.) Girl Like Me by Rihanna because its true.
7.) Swing Life Away by Rise Against for those times where I am completely content with my life and everything/everyone in it.
8.) Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd for those times when it is proper to reminisce about the past.
9.) Family Business by Kanye West because it reminds me of the people I love most and the differences in us all that make for a wonderful dynamic that is hands-down the best part of my life.
10.) Say It Ain't So by Weezer for when I'm pi$$ed off and nothing else will do!

Hope you enjoyed my picks! I know I have a pretty diverse music preference, but I still hope you like them!!! :)

The Lion King soundtrack

I remember when I bought this (about 9 years ago), is the time where me and my colleagues have to work long hours in office (like from 8am-midnight 3am, or even overnight), everyone was so tensed up with the deadline, and nobody talks at all, and my computer cd just keep on playing songs from The Lion King (no time, and no mood to change to another CD)

I think I learnt to sing all the lyrics those days... -_- especially Hakuna Matata (ironically, the lyrics sang are quite the opp. of our mood then : It means no worries, For the rest of your days...)

Brian McKnight's Back at One and John Legend's Ordinary People.

Simple songs with meaningful lyrics that touched my my heart. Everytime I hear it, it seems to just put a stop in whatever I'm doing and just listen to it.

It's simplisticity at its best!
