not if the other states have laws against it like California's voter approved law. My marriage license from Vermont isn't even valid hear.

Actually, Clinton signed a law that allows states to not recognize same-sex marraiges performed in another state. This became an issue I think in Rhode Island recently. The bill that Clinton signed was being used to try to invalidate Massechusetts marraiges that were being taken over to Rhode Island. Their court system ruled that the marraiges must be recognised because Rhode Island doesn't have a law banning same-sex marraige, so the Clinton law doesn't apply. I think it was called the defence of marraige act.

that stupid bill clinton changed the ruling to say others don't have to recongize that rule.
