Racism:
1. The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.
2. Discrimination or prejudice based on race.
So having a "beef" with someone who happens to be black does not make you a racist. If you have a beef with them BECAUSE they are black - that would fall under racism. Or if your beef revolves around you feeling superior to them because of their color then that falls under racism.
So in short - - No.

No it does not - I have had this problem many of times...
If I have an argument over anything with one of my friends we argue - race is never an issue - however...
I have White friends, Hispanic friends, Asian friends, and Black friends - I have had two arguments with two separate black friends of mine and both of them accused me of arguing against them (not taking their side in one case) because of their color - of course some of my other black friends but a stop to it - but they still feel that way and those two won't come around much anymore though everyone else still does and I have had plenty of arguments with all my friends over the years
So - NO - it does not make you a racist, it makes the other person a racist, and I feel bad that you had to ask because I assume you wouldn't have asked if you hadn't been treated that way by someone

No. I have a beef with my black neighbours because I'm sick of hearing a constant beat coming thru my wall and those f*ckers won't turn it down. But I had the same beef with the white guys before them who listened to techno all the time.
