i live in the texas area and my husband is trying to get his cdl's and the dps office is out of books

Here's the website for the Texas CDL handbook.

The site has the whole handbook, it's not just a site for ordering it.

The tests aren't too difficult, just tell your husband to pay close attention to the Hazmat (if he's taking it) and the pre-trip inspection parts.

I live in michigan and we have a web site for our secretary of state.I am sure your state has a web site that has a link to the secretary of state as well .You should be able to print out all the requirements / guide lines you need clarified .
I am a truck driver in the state of MICHIGAN and carry a CDL-A LICENSE .

have you tried other area's around you for the book? After all there all the same from one county to the next!
