My husband and I have gone so far off the deep end it is rediculous. We fight over every little damn petty thing. We both have a problem with having to be right. We will argue and argue friggen details that don't even matter in the big picture, but if we don't remember something right we will fight and fight. It's almost as though we are two people living side by side and sharing a child as opposed to a married couple. Has anyone had success turning a situation like this into a happy marraige? If so, how and what did you do (I'd like to do counceling, but my husband is not up for it)?

Yes you can fix an unhappy marriage. It's not always about trust! You really have to examine yourself, why do you always have to prove him wrong? At some point you did love himor you would not have married him. So try to remember those days when you first fell in love and try to remember why you always have to be right. Alot of times we have to place blame because there are still issues in our live we need to let go of. And most importantly ask him why he think he always want to be right. marriage is not about communication any more it's about resolution!

Dear Wife:
I am sorry to hear your problem and I know couples that are/was with such an issue and tried everything to save their marriage! Some did save it and some did not ! But here is what I think you should do:
My friends have tried everything like accepting the blames and forgiving him each time they fight but to no avail!
I think you should start sleeping in a separate bedroom for a couple a months or week and then you will see if this man really misses you. Then you will know if this marriage is worth fighting for!
You can dress very attractive and if he really likes sex then use sexual manipulation and everytime you fight lure him into bed then ignore him the rest of the day.
Sexual manipulation is a proven tool for a stubborn and hurtful hubby, and u can use this legally coz he is ur man!
Love urself and then he will realise that you have the power to conquer him, get a job if u domn't have one or if u have one make it worthwhile!
You see after a time this man will either get the point that you and him are not just made for eachother and its only the child and sex thats keeping you together and he will leave. Or you will realise that you can do better and seek to find your heart, identity, love and peace elsewhere.
Whatever you do, its your choice!

Ps.
If he donot want to go to counselling , leave him alone, you go and see whats ur options in this hell. And please reslove ur fights or you and your child will suffer mental trauma.
I do know some people that has turned ur kind of marriage into a happy one by:
(1) cheating
(2) God
(3) Leaving
Good Luck
Love Sanam

Do you guys still TRUST each other..If yes, there is still a chance but both of you will need to take marriage counseling..

TRUST is the most important part of a relationship..Once that is broken..There is practically no way of fixing it.. IN MY OPINION..

it sounds like it is over for you. that is a long road to travel to fix things. have a long talk with your husband. life is too short to live in misery.
