can be possible,but you need real friends to live better, your daily life.

For most people, No I don't think it is possible. You would have to really be secure in yourself, to think you could handle life with all of its difficulty all on your own. Sometimes though, I think that the people you meet at work can be good friends, I've made a few very good friends that I met through work.
In my lifetime, I haven't been the most friendly person, and have made very few friends that I would truly call a friend. Its not fun feeling as if you have no one to share a special moment.
These days, friends are very hard to come by. Usually if the phone rings its one of your 'friends' needing a favor. its hard to be happy regardless if you have friends or not.

yes, but make sure they r not just using you, call them some times when you want them around you
if they come they r the friends to stick around with and happiness will appear.

yea of course it is.
if you have people to make you smile.

siblings/spouse/parents/children

other ppl besides social friends can make you happy.
