you probably know that a pregnancy lasts for 40 weeks ideally.
your child is very large and as you have had other c sections i can understand why you are worried that you may burst.
it is posible for the womb to burst open but only if you are have a vaginal birth after you have had c sections.it is the strong contractions that cause the womb to break open.due to your scar tissue as the scar tissue can not stretch with the rest of the womb.
i had a second pregnancy after my c sedtion and i was afraid too as the scar tissue makes the womb weaker.
do not worry your midwife will take care of you and make sure that your contractions will not be allowed to get that strong.that is why you are having another c section.but you do know that you are only allowed 3 c sections as the womb is then at more risk of bursting.
good luck with your birth.

Dont worry, my brothers girl friend and my mum's friend all suffered with this. My brothers girlfriend had a c section and she was massive she looked like she was having triplets seriously, she had a lot of water around the baby though, and she had a c setion 2 weeks early and she ahd a little boy and he weighed a massive 9lb 15 1/2oz, imagine what he would have been if he was full time? And my mum's friend gave birth 2 weeks ago to baby boy and she was the same as you mesuring wel over he weeks and she was also massive, she also had a lot of water and he came out 1 week early and he only weighed 8lb 6oz, and she thought he would be massive. Good luck. Let us all know you have lol and what you have named him/her lol.

Lol! I had the opposite with my first baby. She was like a tiny football, perfect, neat and round. I had to tell people I was ppregnant with her! She was born weighing 6lb. I expected a 2lb baby from the size of my bump. My son however was a huge bump! I could hardly walk and near the end I refused to be weighed and measured because I was so scared. I thought he was going to 15lb and I would need a hundred stitches! He was born 15 days late and weighed 7lb 2!! Don't worry, at least you're having a section and it won't make your eyes water! Good luck!!

Yes i have had similar, except i had to have mine normally! I always measured a few weeks bigger than normal and my dates got moved around n stuff all the time. I had to get an ultrasound at 34 weeks because of my babys size and they told me that his head was the size of a 40 week old baby! What scared me most was that he was my first baby and i didnt think i could do it vagnally if he was so big! I ended up doing it though and we both got through it! He was 9Ib 7oz. You shouldnt worry about his size if you are having a c-section. They can get him out no worries and you will feel no pain of pushing the big boy out! LOL goodluck.. dont worry about his size, he will come out if he gets too big for your body to handle. Just thank god you dont have to have him vaginally thats all i can say!

At 38 weeks I measured 50cm. I was growing 2cm day. I went for a scan and they told me my baby was going to be between 11 &13lb. I thought my skin was going to rip open, but they wouldn't book me in for section. How did they expect me to push a baby that size out. They also said they wouldn't induce me and would let me go over due (meaning my baby would be enormous). I had an emergency section after 18hours of labour and had a 9lb 1oz son.
My second baby was scanned at 36weeks, told she would be about 8lb, same labour. She was 9lb 6oz.

with my first pregnancy nobody told me that i was going to have a big baby, dont think any boby thought i would anyway i had him at 41 wks he was 9lb 6 but with my 2nd and 3rd i was huge well mostly with my 3rd i was terrified i would have to have a c~section b/c i was that big i went 5 days over my due date and had a big girl she was 10lb 7.5 oz but the strange thing was i had a great labour with her so just hang in there your baby will only put on another 200/300 grams so you wont get to much bigger. good luck when it comes xx

You have been told you are carrying a big baby but dont worry it cant be THAT big , theres probably alot of water in there too , i think most Big bumps are amniotic fluids . My last baby was BIG she weighed 10.6 lbs and was delivered by c-section ,my baby before her was 9.1lb and delivered naturally JUST .. Your labour may start before your arranged surgery but if it does just get yourself to the hospital PDQ ....
Good luck .... & congrats !
