Honestly, if you truly love someone enough then their appearance is not important.....Just look at the people on the Maury show....90 lb man with a 400 lb woman and they are perfectly happy - because they truly LOVE each other......

No I don't believe that beauty is only skin deep because there are a lot of people out there that are beautiful on the outside as well as in. Often these people aren't the smartest but they are good people. People often want to look at goodlooking people and find faults with them because of their own insecurities the fact of the matter is a good person can come in an ugly package or a beautiful one, ultimately it is more important to look at a person's inner qualities but don't be negative if someone is goodlooking, try to take tips from them on how to look beautiful because life is all about self-improvement and at the end of the day the race is long but its not against others its against yourself.

Beauty is not just skin deep. Some people are beautiful inside. They are a wonderful person and are great to be around. They are usually people who care a great deal about others and would do anything to help other people. They are also people who can make you laugh no matter what. They are people that'll give you a shoulder to cry on. So again, the answer to your question is no. Beauty is not just skin deep.

No! REAL beauty is on the inside! BUT, what attracts us to each other is the skin deep beauty. In other words on the outside! The symmetrical face is what even young children(toddlers) look at and are strongly attracted to go toward... a beautiful face on a woman. So that is the proof that beauty is what attracts us and the attraction is innate

Beauty is only skin deep and ugly is all the way to the bone. Many women who are attractive have major personality flaws; this is also true of unattractive women.

In essence I agree with the statement though,
Because beauty often fades.

no. the surface of the face is structured by the bones, muscles and ligaments under the skin. And beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Looking at it that way, it is only a perception of the beauty of anything.

Good luck in proving the opposite. Incidentally, proving anything lies in how well you convince the audience of your position. Again in most things, reality is only a perception at first glance.

In my opinion, beauty is more than skin deep. It determines how you see yourself. Your confidence, for example, is a beauty that is deeper. I dont believe beauty is skin deep. Its a matter of the mind. Besides, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Beauty is different to every single person.

Look can be very short live. If you involve with a car accident, you face can be deformed permanently in milliseconds. You personality is still there.

Some disease can change your looks by affecting you nerve systems. There goes your looks.

If someone only judge you and treat you by your superficial surfaces, that means how he /her treats you can change very very quickly if someone mishap happened.

physical beauty, if you are refering to the face, is indeed skin deep, of course the structure of the face is important too. then there is the poise and personality of the person to consider.

Yes; look at it this way. Would you rather be with a beautiful person who treats you badly, or a good person who isn't quite as nice-looking?
