I think a lot of animals get a bad rap in sayings. Like being a dog or living in a pig sty.
Anyway I say to badger someone is worse. It's annoying to be badgered but to weasel out of something can be done so feelings dont get hurt. Like, I'm sorry I can't make it to your party I'm sick.

Badgers are not nice animals, weasels can get in and out of tight places with ease. These are fair comparisons. OH! A SNAKE!
SNAAAAAKE IT'S A SNAAAAKE!

Don't forget to monkey or horse around with something - and...
- to dog someone (pursue persistently)
- to cow someone (intimidate)
- to goose someone (you know)
- to parrot someone (mimic)
- to ape someone (ditto)
- to duck (avoid)
- to fish for something
- to wolf down food
- to rat on someone
- to pig out
Someone, please! Give these poor animals a break!
For God's sake, man! Oh, the humanity!

I'm somewhat of a vegetarian but do consume eggs and poultry. I prefer to "goose you", or "bean you" while I come out "smelling like a rose."
