Pictus catfish are carnivores and are generally bottom feeders though they do have a swim bladder. They can grown up to about 6 inches. Don't put them in with small varieties of fish like neon tetras. Larger corydorus or the Gouramis are okay. Most Cichlids would work with the catfish, like an Oscar. Giant Danios would be fine too. As suggested make sure your aquarium is large enough. The more fish the larger the aquarium you need.

Try Bronze Corydoras, Pearl Gourami, and some Neon Tetras. These are all peaceful shoal fish which should get along with your pictus cat. Just be sure your tank size is enough to accomodate all of them, leaving much room for fish comfort.

Pictus cats are beautiful, but they will eat anything they can fit into their mouths! Don't put the corys in there, they will only get eaten, along with any other small fish. Check www.aquahobby.com, they have a great gallery with lots of info along with many experienced fishkeepers.

depends on the size of your tank, I like tetras, platties, mollies, swordtails, gouramis- there are millions of combinations but you need to look at the size of the tank and start with one or 2 fish and get other compatible ones.
