Force friction=coeficient of friction x weight of object.

If i knew the problem i could definetly help with the answer.

Deceleration example.

Use stopping distance, mass, initial velocity = energy used

use time, energy used = friction force

Friction force/ mass= coefficient

Simple little example, I just dont know your exact problem, Wish i could help more.

* M the coefficient of friction, and
* FN is the normal force in Newtons
