I have sock monkey art in my living room! One print is a sock monkey eating sushi, and the other print is a sock monkey and a pug enjoying a martini. I found these under self-representing artists on eBay. I made my own sock monkey from a purchased kit at a hobby store.

Raggedy Ann yes. Sock "Puppet" was much more amusing. Can't remember where the idea originated, but much more amusing than Raggedy Ann or Andy.
Just checked out the other answers, I have no idea what a sock monkey is, when I answered thought it was something I still think might be more fun.

i had a ragady ann, and the guy that was with her. i never liked them though. i would have rather had a sock monkey :(

Sock Monkey, Auntie made it, back when you had to make them. Raggedy Ann just looked like a spooky red haired chick with freaky scare crow eyes, crazy.

I had a Raggedy Ann from my parents; my mom made a sock monkey for my kids; and my daughter dressed up as Raggedy Ann on Halloween when she was four.
