Classic film, we were actually giving a girl at work a hard time the other day, she has never seen the movie. She is younger then the rest of us. We decided to have a movie night. We will also be viewing 16 Candles, Pretty in Pink and So I Married An Axe Murderer. We quote lines from these movies alot, among others, and felt it was time to educate the poor girl.

Yes! The Breakfast Club makes you think about labels and clicks. It makes you realize that we are all alike inside, that we all have hopes, dreams, and feelings. And those kids are so talented.

Yes I did. I saw it for the first time a few months ago and though it was really good. My favorite part was when they were running around the school trying to get back before the principal did.

It's really overrated. I mean, sure it seems really good and deep, but what moral, what does it actually mean? The shy girl gets her hair out of her face and starts liking the jock and that somehow makes her a better person, while the attractive popular girl and attractive rock dude start going out, and the nerd is left in the dust. How does that do anything but promote stereotypes and drop everything into it's correct social order? How is that different, or original? Admittedly, it is one of the better teen movies out there- just for the acting's and script's sake, but I still think it's a bit overrated.

I was a senior in high school when that movie came out. I like it then. But just like Ferris Buellers Day Off, I liked it when I was young now it seems too juvenile.

Molly Ringwald was my girlfriend, totally!

It's one of my all time favorites. I think that most people can relate at least a little to every character, or if they can't, secretly wanted to date that person in high school.
