I heard a song on the radio today about a woman named Rosanne however I can't recall the lyrics, it was a classic song I have heard before.. I realize this is extremely vague but I know someone must have an idea!

Unfortunately it's not Rosanna by Toto, I found that song earlier while searching for "Rosanne". Any other ideas?

(I heard it about 12 hours ago so bear with me), I recall one part saying she wouldn't have to be a stripper or something to that extent, the lyrics were not graphic but that is really the only detail of the song I can remember.

Once I typed that last detail out I remembered it was ROXANNE not Rosanne hehe, the song was Roxanne by The Police. Thanks anyways :)

I think "Kool and The Gang" sings a song like that....They sing Rosanna....then.... I love You...lol...hope this helps....good luck... ;)......oh no..maybe it's not that song...great, now I'm all confused, dag-na-bit....bye

Could you be talking about "Rosanna"? This song is sung by Toto, and from 1982. It was written about Rosanna Arquette, then-girlfriend to the lead singer of Toto. Google this song to see if; indeed, the lyrics are the correct ones. Good Luck!

Toto did a song called "Rosanna", is that the one you were thinking of? It was written about Rosanna Arquette. One of the band members had dated her and she apparently broke his heart.
