Yes, unfortunately you probably look like a "damn fool", which is your right to do so.

What I don't understand is what it is that you find so appealing about rap, especially being a woman.

Stupid guys may well think that, but fortunately not all men are idiots.

If you're good at it, there's no reason that you shouldn't. Take into consideration that people may not actually be looking at you like you're crazy, but may actually be impressed that you can do it. Rapping is easy, but rapping well is damn nigh impossible.

Even if you're not good at it, if you enjoy it, that's all that really matters. No one worth knowing is going to judge you harshly for getting into the music. From a musicians perspective, I'm always flattered when people sing my songs, regardless of how foolish they may look doing it. And frankly, I've heard a few people sing them better than I do.

Short answer is...keep doing your thing.

There's nothing wrong with you liking rap music. White people have actually invested more in the rap industry than Blacks for many many years. If you feel like singing along, you should make sure it's because you just wanna sing and join in, not because you're trying to get attention. It's about being real, being yourself.

Girl, be yourself. If you want to rap, rap. Bump other people, don't matter what they say. I'm a white girl, and trust me, I bump 2pac, Jay-z, or whatever I feel liking singing along to! I get crazy looks too, but I don't care. I like what I like. Enjoy it, and ignore people like her.

i think it is. I think it looks stupid for anybody to be singing along to a rap song for that matter. Especially with all the language. If you think you are cool, then i guess you can do what you want.

Who the hell cares what other people think. If singing along with different type of music makes you happy then do it. Society has too many stereotypes out there.

You can do whatever you'd like. If you like it, do it for yourself and for those who support you. Those who don't appreciate what you do can just leave. That's what I say. I mean it's not like you're infringing on someone's rights or something. Go right ahead.
