john prine ...i find it to be an observation every couple probably asks themselves, but not always able to express. Certainly not this succinctly. The dude's got a way with words.

Do you want a one-liner type thing or a longer passage?
The best one-liner I know is

In terms of longer passages, I like this one

Also, the song Static by Dark Tranquility probably gets my vote for the best overall lyrics of anything I've heard, and it's chock full of good, cryptic stuff.
