Silence - like water - I have to have it.

If you're not comfortable in your own silence, there's something awry in there.

Now that you have mentioned it, silence drives me nuts. No wonder I have the television on or else, some music. I listen to the radio more these days than CDs. I can't download anymore. I have to go put the Clash on.

I think that silence can be as powerful & probably even more powerful than words in any given conversation...

i think silence is more of an absence of something than an actual thing itself, if you get what i mean.
