I here in America ppl are saying that Indian culture was the strongest culture, we knew how to respect our elders, women and now they are now trying to act like Americans.

well the subcontinental culture is showing marks of the western influences now with short clothes and the sudden sex culture......which obviously was not a part of indian cinema even a decade ago
the indian movie industry needs to realise that even though some parts of it .....just some parts.....make the movie more appealing in the west.....they should NOT let go of their moral values and cultural heritage......they are still indians and they need to show it in their movies!

Because they are uncultured& have no morals .They r victims of blindly aping the western culture. We have nothing to learn from them.Quick money & fame is another reason.It is not only shameful but a blob on the civilised Indian society &culture. The Directors Producers& the Cencor Board people need to be octrisied form society.These people are more retrograde in the evolutionary process of mankind..Parents & guardians of this lot are eqally responsible &are to be blamed & condemned.

Because it is sexier ... "sexier" is a more advanced status of the woman than "ugly", and old apparatuses that women used to wear making them look like a decorated tree are becoming obsolete the more we unfold the beauty of the woman by showing her nuder and nuder .. MMMiaammm !
By the way the Indian Sari is the sexiest piece of cloth I know, because it shows half the body naked... At the opposite is the horrible islamic "hijab" that makes a lady look like an ugly bird !!!
It is all about Aesthetics.
So, forget about this American and other qualifications you criticize, because the world is moving forward !!!!

It is not the mistake of bollywood girls, because they have to follow the instructions of the director of the movie. The costume has to be designed in accordance with the situation of the story.

You can attract the audience either by your acting skills or by some other means,and if you have talent there is no need to shed of your clothes. After all what do they want to show , their acting ability and their beauty and by shedding the clothes nobody seems to be beautiful.

from movies you cannot guess culture.we dream things which we are unable to do and 2ndly big money is involved in movies, it's financed by some bhai's who are moreover hyseteriac patients.so they fulfill their desire by exploiting sex and violence which is cheap enjoyments and movie girl want publicity.so they do uncommon things.
