in june of this year i had a copper iud implant put in because i do not want kids right now.i always use condoms when i have sex.i have had the same partner for almost a year but i still use protection anyways.for the last few times i had sex the condom broke and i was wondering is there anyway i can get pregnant.or better yet i was wondering has anyone ever gotten pregnant with an iud implant.

I have used IUD's for the past 12 years, first the copper, now a different one. You have a very low chance of pregnancy, almost equal to the pill. Of course it doesn't protect against sexually transmitted diseases. If your partner has been tested and you KNOW he isn't messing around, it becomes your choice about the condoms. As for pregnancy, don't sweat it. But as for STD's. always possible.

I did....and my bouncing baby boy was born with the IUD stuck to his little bum. It was a statement....like "hey mom and dad, guess what you can do with THIS........."
But, the odds are that you did not conceive.

NO BUT I GOT CERVICAL CANCER FROM THE COPPER CU7 IUD BACK IN 1981.

no you can't because it blocks the sperm from ven entering the cervix
