I think that you should just tell the "new" and "old" friends that they need to understand that you are mutual and it's nothing against them. Maybe explain that you would like to be friends with all of them, but you should not isolate yourself.

If their friendships with these other friends suffered, it's their fault, not yours. If they're just going to cast blame anywhere they can, you don't need them. Maybe they're the ones who are fated not to have friends, not you.

Don't be too emotional. Look your friend is accussing of stealing their friend. Might be their friend trusted you more than them.Look on the bright sight. They are loosing not them.
