Does globalization really "threaten social advancements" and threaten the "security of human life"? How so? What about the increase of the maritime industry because of the larger demand of goods from other countries?

First, define the other side of the argument. Know what the other side will use as their argument as well as what their strongest point is. Then, write a sentence that will defeat their argument. Make it powerful and strong using vocabulary, word choice, and proper grammar. Then that will be your thesis.

If you want to keep your orginal thesis, I suggest this:
"The negative effects of globalization threatens social advancement, the security of human life, and (add one more argument here, that way, if you need to, you'll have 3 individual argument for each paragraph... one intro, 3 main arguments for your support, and a conclusion)

good luck!

why does it create negative effects on the world besides threatening social advancement and the security of human life? and what brings you to the conclusion that this occurs. Be more specific, give examples, and quotes to support this opinion. You will have a thesis before you know it. The more you delve into the whys, the more info you will come across to reflect on in the thesis. Don't try to cram it. Read all the info you have, and comprehend it. Take your time and make notes on points you want to further review. It will come to you.

The easiest and most logical way to make a stronger argument would be to take the opposite position.
