Oh goodness - a friend of mine went through menopause when she was in university and still a virgin! As soon as she got married, they went and registred for adopting, cuz they knew she'd never be having kids of her own.

You're not going through menopause... yet. You're going through what I went through in my 40's and experienced the same thing. My doctor called it "peri-menopause". Menopause is the cessation of your menstrual cycles. If you go for a whole year with no symptoms, no periods or hot flashes, you're menopausal.
If you want some relief from the hot flashes, you can ask your doctor about a low dosage of birth control pills taken continuously. You can also take soy or black cohosh tablets to alleviate the hot flashes and mood swings. Those are available at any drug store or even grocery stores.

it's quite alright to be having hot flashes. believe it or not, I'm 30 and I'm having hot flashes and u are very much in your mother's genetic pool, you may have inherited hot flashes and irregular bleeding from her and also a good person to gauge is if you have an immediate female family member going through the same thing, then more than likely it runs in the forties. No worries.

At your age, that's possibly purely a short-term hormone imbalance. each and every of the 'indicators' of menopause are rather the end results of changes in a woman's hormones, so some random fluctuation might desire to produce comparable effects even even with the incontrovertible fact which you're no longer truthfully dealing with meopause. once you're rather apprehensive, and your era isn't ordinary (and that i do no longer recommend 'like common' I purely recommend 'an identical for some cases') in a pair months examine along with your wide-unfold practitioner.

I can't believe how many people don't know you can start perimenopause in your thirties. You are well into menopause, hot flashes, irregular bleeding, all are the major signs. Most women go through it in the fourties.
