I found the following info.-

"Seeds of the Sixties" was part I of a 6 part series for PBS called "Making Sense of the Sixties" from 1991. Many public and academic libraries have copies (400+). You should be able to get a copy to borrow through your local library's interlibrary loan system.

Armenian musician Ara Dinkjian is credited with the "original music". http://www.armeniapedia.org/index.php?title=Ara_Dinkjian

From Google's cached copy of www.zoominfo.com/directory/Dinkjian_Ara_51028016.htm

Ara Dinkjian has also composed and performed the soundtracks for the feature documentary It's All Good, the six-part PBS documentary Making Sense of the Sixties, and the film Sources. Still, he does not consider himself a composer.

Unfortunately, I could find no listing for a separate soundtrack for the documentary and Mr. Dinkjian's recordings are not the easiest to find, but they do show up, often with his group "Night Ark". Some clips are here http://www.answers.com/topic/treasures-2000-album-by-night-ark

You can purchase some here http://shopping.yahoo.com/p:Night%20Ark:1927002269

So, I do not know if the exact pieces you are looking for are actually Mr. Dinkjian's or if those are available recordings, but I hope you may now be able to find something similar or to track down and borrow the video!

Original music to Seeds Of The Sixties by Ara Dinkjian.

Dinkjian, 45, is an American-born Armenian who grew up listening to traditional Armenian music alongside American pop and jazz. His big break came in 1986 when RCA Records offered him a recording contract, prompting him to found Night Ark, which achieved great success in the music world and remains a symbol of original instrumental music combining Mediterranean melodies with jazz, pop, and classical music.

I could not find the soundtrack for Seeds of the sixties, but here is a link to 22 CDs available by Ara Dinkjian:
