my little girl turned eight years old today and i have been sitting here think about how people take life for granted. people need to take every min of everyday as if it was the last. i think back at when she was laying in my arms so help less and now she can do for herself in all most everything she does. and i didnt realize that until today. people tdont think about how much they miss out on life until it is too late and cant get it back so just take a min now if u are reading this to think about the things u take for granted. do it for it is too late. make sure that u tell family u love them dont think well they know that tell them anyways everyday because u never know when u may not get to again. help everyone u can stop and think stop taking life fir granted before it is to late

my kiddos are 11 8 and 3 and i too have many times wondered why so many people dont care about life and how precious it is. It goes by so fast enjoy it while u can. My father passed this year and i never really told him how special he was but he knew it i hope. Life everyday like u are dying.

What do you mean "realize her mistake" when it's you who are making a mistake by letting her treat you like puppet? People like that are too inconsiderate and self absorbed to ever acknowledge that they are making a mistake, let alone owning up to it, because they're too selfish and too busy running and imposing on other peoples lives to be concerned about anyone but themselves. She treats you like this is because you let her! Why do you feel rejected when all she ever did was just that? You're acting like you have no spine or any will of your own and you need to cut her loose. If you don't put a stop to this then you deserve to be hurt. This is a no win for you. She has and will never be there for you so how can you possibly ever hope for friendship from her. Impossible! The only reason she calls you a friend is to keep you on her line so she can reel you in at her convenience and at your expense. Unless you're some kind of masochist, it's time to wake up and quit being taken for a ride. Somehow hopefully you'll realize that you're not so hard up as to need someone like her in your life who is so rudely abrupt and uses you so like a tool. So from now on when she calls just tell her you're too busy and you don't have the time. Then turn around and get away from her and stay away. If she feels your absence and takes the time to talk to you then let her have it and tell her how pissed off you are. Tell her off good and don't hold back. Otherwise if you never hear from her again consider yourself fortunate to be rid of her. If you don't take control and regain yourself she'll suck the life out of you leaving nothing but an empty shell of a person in her wake. There are far better people out there to be your friend and it won't be difficult finding them.

The main reason ppl take life for granted bcoz of the comfort zone they live in where everything is easy and convenient and accessible and when they transit into a different phase, location or situation they realize how much everything they got was worth it...and how much could have been done in that time when they were sitting and laxing and world was its usual pace....its strange but 99 out 100 understand that how precious life is when they dont have any left.....so u need to value every moment before it ends....
Life is like a Starbucks coffee....u need to savour every sip...;-)

We take life for granted because we get easily distracted and busy with our lives. I think we need to change our priorities and appreciate life every once in a while.

I think many times, people forget that their next breath could be the one that kills them, or that a drunk driver could crash into their mother's car while she is driving to pick them up. We were made as forgetful people, it's a hindrance, but we need to remember as often as possible.
