It's not just music that you can use the iPod for. I have a black 30GB iPod and I use it as an external drive so that I can transfer files from my home computer to my work computer. I also have nearly 500 songs on it at the moment but I use it for learning Spanish as well.

i have a Creative MP3 player. for the same price of an iPod you can get a good product! i have the 30 GB MP3 player and for me it is worth it since i have close to 4000 songs and counting. i would not get an Ipod since it is a waste of money! try another alternative and see other options that offer you more than the Ipos yet are also cheaper!

I have the 1GB Ipod, and I get so bored of it after a dozen songs, and flip through most of them. Unless you have a huge music collection, and don't care... go for what ever size.

i don't, but i don't use my ipod that often. if you know you won't listen to all of the music, then get a smaller one. i got a 20 gb one before because i'd rather have more space than not enough.

No. Ipod is a waste of money. Who the hell just has to have music by them so much that they need these things? Its rediculous.
