more than likely teething, 4 months is the average excessive drooling is a true giveaway, docs actually call this the 4 month drool, in this case i found teething tablets worked better than any numbing gels, i found them at CVS with the suggestion of a pharmacist

Did She have a busy day yesterday? She could be either going thru a growth period. Or if you had a busy day yesterday, she might be tired. But there is also the wonder, is it her gums? or teeth? Do you see any white spots?? If not, i'd just watch her, she could be growing and just alittle bit more tired, because of what her surroundings are doing, and she doesnt want to miss out on anything, so she fights the sleep.

unfortunately yes. You would know if something was wrong with her. Babies have bad days too, she could just be over tired and cranky or maybe she's just testing to see what she can get away with, testing her boundaries. As long as she is eating and not running a fever i wouldn't worry. it'll pass we have have bad days this is just the only way she knows to deal with hers.

Ofcourse it is normal, just because she is only 4 months doesnt mean she can't have a bad day too like the rest of us. Just keep an eye out if she starts to look sick, call a doctor. If you just nothing wrong is occurring and you still feel unsure, call a doctor. mothers have an instinct to know when something is wrong, just acted on it, you won't stop thinking about until you do.

Could be that she is starting teething. My son started at 4 months. He's almost 5 months now and is trying to eat his fist. He does run a very low-grade fever though.

Very normal. Have you had her checked for colic?? Maybe she just wants to be held. Try putting a blanket over her head, holding her in your arms, rocking her back and forth..this worked for my neice.
Or try getting a soothing crib toy...it puts infants to sleep like that. There are teddy bears out there that have the sound of a mothers heart beat as well. Try something like that. Good luck!

at this age it is generally frustration that put our babies in a bad
mood and it will most probably get worse before it gets better my little man[my 3rd] was moody from about 4 months until he crawled at 6 monthsit wasnt every day but the days he was moody felt like a week

there are a lot of factors that could lead up to her whineyness. but early teething is probably the answer. does she drool a lot and chew on things (like her rattle)? if so then she is probably teething. try some orajel or teething tablets if she stops then its probably her teeth bothering her. good luck

She could just be having an off day. You'll really be able to tell tonight if she sleeps normally or not.

Yes she could be teething or just feels like being grumpy. All kids go through stages.
