when a girl who is obviously not fat says she is just so someone else will say she isnt!?!?!? i frickin hate it

YES! When a skinny girl says she is fat I ask her if she has been diagnosed with anorexia. If she says no, then I tell her if she thinks that SHE is fat then I must be a huge COW. That makes her stutter and stammer. Then I tell her to go eat something.

there are different opinions. you just gotta understand, unless it's just for attention.
for example
korea only has few fat peoples. there are no obese people whatsoever. so i was grown up thinking, i'm the fat one. so i should go shoot myself,
but when i came to america, i found out that my body shape is normal, or maybe even skinnier than most people.
i kept saying i am fat and everyone was annoyed at me.
i dont say that anymore.
your friend, whoever it is, wouldn't be in the same situation. she just says that for attention.

people always see themselves different than the rest the media really is to blame having people down to 98 pounds and on diets because they can still see some fat
then theres those who do it just for attention i say let them be they might just throw up enough to end up like teri shciavo and become yet another victim the society and its unhealthy obsession whith skinnyness

um... im 13 and i weigh 60 pounds, but i tend to attract a lot of that weight to my stomach area, so yeah, i say that im 'fat'. that is an understatement, but some people say that because they may be unhappy with their weight, and want other people to say that they arent fat. it lifts up their confidence a little.

It depends you have to understand sometimes the girl doesn't see yourself in the same we you do. She may really think she is fat. You can tell when they really mean it or when they are fishing for a complament.

attention seekers or low self esteem, I would ask why are they seeking out someone to comment that they are not fat and ask them if they are not getting enough attention.

they just want people to tell them how well they look.or it can also be a self-esteem problem. you gotta see what fits on each case. I just ignore those who just want to hear people saying nice things about them. Just...don't waste my time

me too...i dont get how they are still okay with living and not ashamed. they're just trying to get some one to say that they look good.
