I've got it and I love it. Only drawback is that if the power goes out, we can't use the phone, but we've got cell phones so it doesn't really matter. We save so much money because you're not charged all the lame crazy charges and taxes you're charged with other companies.

The only drawback for me is if i get it i would have to get a 678 area code, so it would be long distance.

its been awhile, but i had it in S.C, and worked great, i paid 5$ for a second phone# with a 608 area code, family in wis could call me no charge [local call]

it works well...so well that i've gone to europe and i've taken my phone with me (seriously) and called people in the states from abroad (still considered a local or national call since i use the internet)
