It can get expensive when you list items that do not sell. You have to pay insertion fees (and additional optional fees) even if your item does not sell. If it does sell, there is an additional (final value fee). This does not count the fees that PayPal collects on payments for items.

When it comes right down to it, a little under 10% of the selling price will be charged in various fees.

If selling your item for 90% of the final price is OK, then you will make a profit. If not...stay away from eBay.

Sellling on ebay is great and cheap. It can get a little high but it depends what you choose, however in the end it is worth it. A fast efficent way to sell your items.
