Really bad split ends would not really come from the tub cleaner that was left in the tub. Chance are that you are not taking proper care of your hair. Get the ends clipped and try to avoid heat styling for a while. Moisturize and condition regularly and everything will be fine. If you can go to your stylist and get a deep treatment.

I would be sure to clean the tub in the future but I think that the chemicals would more affect you skin than your hair.........

Not really sure of your question. But I think you mean when you took a bath, you left hairs behind?? They should go down the drain. If not, you have a trap on your drain. Just remove the hair and dispose of, if not, you have a clog. Need to get a drain cleaner, before you call a plumber because they are expensive. If you mean that you left a cleaner in the shower, it would have been washed away with the water, and your shampoo and conditioner would have prevented any damage to your hair. Hope this helps.

I'm assuming it was strong enough to actually burn the hair ends, which would cause the split ends; you'll probably need a trim, but that's about all it will do to you - just made your hair dry on the ends, where it's most fragile anyway.

I don't know if the splitends can be directly blamed on the cleaner. And it's not terrible for yo as long as you rinse it off.
