well, my mom was queen bee when it came to the tv... so mornings would consist of Regis & Kathy Lee... Price is Right was a must. Then she'd start me up some lunch during the commercial break before the SHowcase Showdown... usually a tuna melt on an english muffin. Then news from 12-1 (we migth play Yatzee during the news), and Days of Our Lives from 1-2. For a 27 yr old straight male, i could mess someone up on some Days trivia! lol! Then she'd kick on a Lifetime movie or some talk show stuff... always Oprah at 4. Or sometimes i'd go in my dad's den and watch a movie like Wrath of Khan or the oldschool Moby Dick with Gregory Peck. I liked some corny-*** movies too like Troop Beverly Hills and Red Sonja. And Dark Crystal... remember that?

Damn... lotta memories right there. now i might have to give her a call tomorrow.

As a kid? I remember this vividly....in the early 1980s, I was home from school sick with a bad cold. I watched TV, and saw a news break that President Reagan was shot when he was waving to the crowd going to his car. We find out later that he was fine, and they took the bullet out, and the shooter was John Hinkley. The next day at school, the whole class was talking about it.
I've watched Bewitched, I love Lucy, etc. too during that time, but this stood out for me during my "sick time as a kid".

Saved by the Bell. That show has been on in reruns for a very long time. My cousin used to watch it when she was home.

Also, The Price Is Right, since it was my grandma's favorite and I stayed with her.
