I have sewn a little bit in the distant past and remember a little bit. I have done a tiny bit of machine work, but it was with tons of help. I am good at doing hand sewing. I have altered some of my own dresses becuase I am smaller in the shoulders. I hand mend and do buttons. I am good with design because I have been making and designing jewelry for over 10 years.

I just need a basic class at a place that does not require me to buy their machine and then someone to help me to work on my own ideas. I already have designs in my head. I just need the skills.

Any ideas please help.

Well, you could just go to a store that sells fabric, there should be someone who works there, and usually whoever works in the sewing department knows how to sew. Ask them if they could give you tips... I am only 16 years old and I have taught myself how to sew... if you e-mail me i could probab;y help you. it's really easy! : )
