THIS IS THE ONLY ANSWER!!! Buy some Lindberg-Snider brand "Porterhouse & Roast Seasoning. I usually buy it at Henrys, but I think most grocery stores should have it in the spice isle. Lightly Sprinkle the steaks with Worcestershire Sauce, salt, pepper and the seasoning. BBQ the steaks on a HOT grill with mesquite charcoal. You want the steaks to have a little surface "crusty" and to be cooked the way you want them in the center.
I get rave reviews on this every time I do steaks and will never reveal my secrete to my friends, but will share it here.

WTH is this in Marriage? Meat is so very important in any marital relationship. I use many different things to rub my husband's steak. He knows that I keep a good stash of meat tenderizer on hand for any given occasion and that he rarely knows what I am going to bring out to slather, drip, rub, pound or deep marinade it in, but he knows me well enough in this area to completely trust that it will be wonderful. Never a complaint from what I cook up ;)
Variety is the spice of life!
