If you live in CA then no you can not unless you have 100% Legal & Physical Custody. You have to inform both the court and your ex if you do not have a 100% custody and you will still have to have the courts permission. If you are not divorced than definately do not leave because they will award custody to your ex and then slam you with kidnapping charges.

If he isn't abusive to his children, why would you take them away from their father? They need to have regular contact with him or they will have problems later (trust issues / problems getting close / resenting you). Fathers are very important.
How would you feel if he moved them out of state without your permission??? I think you're being selfish, ask your kids :-(

Why would you want to? You got the divorce, not your children. I am truly embarrassed the way ex spouses act. I am sure no one forced you to marry the person and have children with him/her.

NO , this is considered kidnaping...i went through it. the best way to get those kids out of state is to go to a lawyer and abait all child support and he is to give up all rights to the childern. that is what i did yrs. ago.

not unless you ahve full custody and it is in your divorce decree. even then some states require a judge to say yay or nay. it is hard to get them to though unless the other parent is unfit or otherwise not so hot.

Pull out your divorce papers and see what it says. Just depends on what was put into the decree.

not if he has rights to see the kids. Check your divorce decree. You might have to petition the court depending on your circumstances.

depends on divorce settlement and ex's are allowed visitation, he could petition the court to keep you from doing it.
