As a proponent and outspoken advocate of personal responsibility, I believe GW Bush's version of "personal responsibility" is brutally unmerciful and characterized by the worst sort of hypocrisy.

Good people do the best that they are able, within the resources available to them. Those resources include not only pecuniary resources, but also wisdom in responsibly applying those resources.

The Bush regime has inverted the notion of accountability, and made the peon more culpable for harmless errors and unforeseeable mistakes than corporate leaders and government officials willfully committing acts of malfeasance.

It's a cop-out. The situation is so messed up that he wants ppl to feel it's their fault for not taking responsibility. Nov. is going to be your chance to show him how responsible u can be.
