At my b-day party my cousin brittany told me that she had caught my two bestest friends going through her purse and then when they saw her they ran out. Their story is that they went in my room, and two little girls (one of them is my cousin little sister) asked them to fix a purse bc it wouldnt zip up. So they tried to fix it...and my cousin comes in and sees them. They here someone says its almost time to sing happy birthday and there was food, so they threw the purse on teh chaIr and left. But idk what to do. I KNOW my friends wouldnt do ANYTHING like tht and my couin would never lie to me...same with my friends. And my cousin said she asked her sister nad she said she didnt ask anyone...but her little sister is like teh spawn of satain...so i need to asdk my other little cousin...but i really need help!!!!

Well you know me and you know Jess and you know Britt. I can't tell you who to believe. Really just think about it. You need to give yourself time to think. Now what you think won't affect me too much cuz I'm your friend. And I'd love you as a friend the rest of my life. So just try to patch things up with her first ok? Then see what happens from then on..

Hold everything! At this late stage you can't be certain. All you can do at this stage is to give everyone the benefit of doubt and be more observant in future. If someone lies to you once, chances are they will lie to you again. That goes for family members as well.
Examine your conscience: you have never uttered a lie yourself right? Forgive everyone and show yourself as a magnanimous girl. Everyone will love you for it.

Maybe it's just a misunderstanding then? Maybe your cousin just assumed they were going through her purse because the girls were trying to fix the zipper? In which case nobody would be lying.
