Mm... a misanthrope just like me. Three options:
1. Kill yourself.
2. Kill everyone else.
3. Smirk inwardly and tell yourself "poor poor pathetic people..."

Watch the sunrise or sunset. Watch a bird soar, breath, notice the beauty of a blue sky or the drama of a storm. It is all for YOU! Thousands/millions of people have lived and died. We only have so much time. I hate what people do but, the world is ever so beautiful, and harsh.

I feel the same way and am not trying to offer any easy answer, but what else is there? People suck, mostly, but the "world" is much more than that. The only problem is the more you think about how beautiful it is the more sad it makes you that we are destroying it. I don't know if this helps or even is what you were asking, but, I can relate to your question.

Change it.

When I find myself feeling this way I call it Soul Sick. Some say this can be caused by hormonal or chemical imbalance in the body - but I think it has more to do with our inner thoughts and feelings.

There is a lot of ugliness in the world today and a lot of ugly people full of toxic negative energy. We can be in the world, but not of it. There are things you can do:

Meditation: A great way to help rest the mind and soul
Exercise: Getting the blood moving helps, and if you do it without a headset on, it also is meditative
Protection exercises: Imagine yourself in your mind and see a wide ribbon of white lite starting about a foot over your head and winding around you loosely again and again to about a foot under your feet. A tight ribbon keeps all energy out, a loose ribbon allows love and light in while keeping bad out.
Visualization: Imagine the world as you want to see it in your mind. Really see it. See the headlines that read about the news you want to hear. See the people in your neighborhood being kind and helping one another. See yourself happy and peaceful, surrounded by the people you love.

Happiness is a choice my friend - and thoughts become things. We are each the authority in our own lives. Use your own personal power to create a world worth living in. Others will thank you and you will be happy.

Peace!

Why do you hate trees?
Why do you hate the sun?
Do you hate everyone not around you (like me)?
The world can be frustrating, but that frustration usually is generated by people's interpretations and perceptions. The world isn't that bad... it can be tough, but it isn't evil.

It doesn't matter what I would do, but I hope anyone that feels that way will find a way out. The world is what we make it - not entirely, but in the way it affects us. Give it time, and give it a chance.
Don't be so harsh and critical- especially of yourself.
(that's what I hope I'd tell myself in that situation).

I would suggest you start loving yourself.

Once you do that, share it with plants and flowers --- if you look hard enough, you'll see that there's a miracle in every blade of grass.

Then let it grow, and it will overwhelm your hate, and you'll be sorry you wasted your time with hate in the first place.

Best wishes on the journey.

I would look within myself. The source of your anger and hatred is not in the people around you. The source of your hatred is within yourself. Why do you hate? This is what is important to know. Surely, you can not be happy if you hate like this.
