No, one hour longer commute will eat up the extra money you are going to make. Stick with the job you are in, hopefully if you do well and they need you, they may take you on permantely. It doesn't look good on your resume to be job hoping every few months.

Stay with the 7mo job. Short commute, spend the extra 2 hrs per day looking for local work.

Since gas cost so much right now I would go for the 7 months job. Even if the 1 year job paid more I would be losing alot of money going to and from work.

probable stay with the 7 mos job, you will spend more time on the road and gas money ,it would really not pay you to quit. If you are looking for a way to make more money I am in a home based business that is working for me and I would like to tell you how it works if you are interested. you can contact me at bowenquarterhorsesandpaints@ya.

If the pay is good enough to cover the gasoline for the 1-hour drive and there's still a big difference in the quantity of money I'd take it. Think about that one hour drive as an extra hour of work. would you still be making more money than in the closer job?
