The water may cause some corrosion but the real danger to your cell phone a short circuit caused by the water, which is more likely the more you play with it. A short circuit is not repairable and permanent. When a phone gets wet your only chance of saving it is to immediately take the battery out and leave in warm dry place for several days. Once you are sure there is no moisture inside the phone charge it up and test it out. There is a slim chance it will work if not....hopefully you took the insurance.

Take the phone apart, and let it set in a dry place for a day or two. Just don't take off anything that you won't be able to put back on. If it doesn't work after it dries out, you will just have to get a new phone.

Yes it will work again.
You might have to buy a new battery though because it probably shortcircuited.
Don't try turning it on until you know it is dry inside and out.
It could take weeks before it dries unless you open it but that might void any warranty you have on it.

Yep, Open the back of the phone and dry it with the blow dryer. You have to call someone and make sure it working. Blow in it when you get finished to make sure the person hears you.

It's a goner. Phones are made for talking, not swimming. Next time don't be so careless.
