eg, when ppl think of ppl trying for a free ride, getting paid even if they dont work, they think of the poor, ppl on welfare, but NEVER of the superrich, who CANT have earned so much, who MUST be overpaid - eg, a nobelprizewinning economist can say there is no free lunch, when the highest AVERAGE pay [increase of fortune] /hr is US$500,000 - with peaks up to $10,000,000 - eg, ppl can say seriously that the rich make their money by hard work, when no one can work more than twice as hard as the average person, & yet incomes [increase of fortune]/workhr go up to A MILLION TIMES average - superextraordinary - superodd - super hard to explain -
the poor man gets at most ONE unemployment benefit, the rich man gets up to 3 million unemployment benefits [assuming the unemployment benefit is a third of average hrly pay] - and yet ppl dont have an atom of indignation or contempt or hatred for this, and yet have sometimes considerable animus against the poor person getting one unemplymnt ben.

First of all, you're generalizing. Some rich people (not all, but some) DO work hard to get where they're at. They're rewarded for their brains, their hard work and their ambition and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Is Bill Gates overpaid? Maybe. Would the world be the same without him? No. Did he earn it? YES!

People who ***** and moan about how much rich people make never understand how hard it is and how complicated it can be to get where the rich people are at.

I charge my clients approximately $150 an hour for my consulting services. Am I overpaid? NO. Why not? Because it would take my clients years to learn the information I can impart on them in a matter of hours. They're paying for that knowledge, not necessarily for my time. It's worth every penny to them.

Someone like you, on the other hand, would probably say I'm overpaid.

Do I hate poor people? No. I do what I can to help the underprivileged. Do I dislike poor people who ***** and moan about how unfair it is that other people have more money than them? Yes. If you're not happy about your lot in life, do something to change it.

So, you think people should hate rich people?

Sounds like you're jealous.

Good for them for being rich! That would be nice to have a lot of money.

There are a lot of selfish, complaining, mean poor people, you know?

Anyway, it's not good to judge people by the amount of money they have.

Stop living your life so concerned about money.
