My calling plan rolled over a couple of months ago, and I am eligible to upgrade to the C2000 for free. Is it a good phone, or would I be better off with another brand? I don't need anything too fancy. I just want a basic camera phone.

iI f I were you I would NOT go with a LG. I would go with a Nokia. If you a going to be hard on your phone (like I am) I would go with a "candybar style" phonerather than a flip because they can take anything. kids, a puppy and a lot of drops. I have had meny phones and I will always have my Nokia.

You would be much better off going with the LG 225; which if you're looking online should only be 9.99, and is well worth the difference between that and the ancient c2000.
