i was twelve and my mom was away on a trip with friends in utah...so it was my dad and my sisters and i didn't want to tell my dad but i had a few pads from the little sex ed classes in 4th and 5th grade and so i used those and then when i ran out i freaked and called my aunt and she brought me so more pads...later that night when my mom called i told her all about it...

I was 10 years old. I got it when I was at the dentist. I told my mom right away because I was actually proud! lol I felt that I had become a woman. My Mom and Dad took me and my sister out to celebrate my new cycle of my life. I remember it was an all you can eat buffet. My my, such memories. lol 14 years later I'm dreading the darn thing! Be glad you haven't had it yet, you're spared a lot of pain and discomfort and don't get me started on the bloating!! My mom was 14 when she got hers, and I've known others who were 16. If you're that concerned, talk to your mom, or talk to your doctor. But guaranteed, your monthly friend will make it's unwelcomed visit soon enough!

It probable had to be someone they knew or a minimum of knew the moms and dads. i imagine now that this is the perfect way. i replaced right into a lot safer that way and my moms and dads were part of my life. youthful ones those days might want to study plenty from the old timers. tell them instantly away is the staggering answer!

I started the day before my 13th birthday. I told my mom right away. My daughter started when she was 11 and she told me right away. It's a big change in your life and everyone goes through it differently and at different ages. Don't be afraid to talk to your mom about it!

I myself was 11, but everyone is different. I had a friend who didn't start menstruating until she was 16. Yes I told my mom about it right away. It's kinda scary at first. Your mom can be a hugh support and teacher about it.

I was 12 and I was too embarrassed to tell my mom right away. I think she found out by the wrappers in the trash!

I was 11 when I got mine, and I started crying cuz I didnt want to be all grown up, I wanted to still be a kid... lol and I told my mom that day... But one of my friends is almost 17 and still hasnt gotten hers (so jealous of her! lol)

i was 12 when i got mine and now i'm 13. no i did not tell my mom right away but don't wait to long beacuse it cost alot of money for all the pads and tamponds you will need so you will need her to buy them for you.

i was like 10 or 11. 4 th grade i think. i didnt tell my mom until i was like 13. crazy huh? i hid my underwears. i threw them in an old dog food bag. i was going to throw the bag away, and when i came back for it, it was gone. here my ma gave it to my uncle. he went to go feed his dogs, and my underwears came fallin out!!! how embarrassing!l! LOL

I was 13 and I told her right away. It can be a little scarey at first, but you'll be fine.
