Depends - what do some people say about Detroit?

I have never lived there, but I've visited before. It's like any big city - it has some good things, and it has some bad things. Some parts are full of of mansions, and literally 1 block away are slums. Some areas of town are full of factories, and others neat blue-color residential areas with rows and rows of houses. A lot of the highways are patched and full of potholes, especially in the spring. Traffic can be terrible. But some of Detroit's people are terrific, and some of the attractions are first class.

Some parts are well actually most of Detroit are pretty depressing for residents and just plain scary for visitors. But there are actually really nice areas unfortunately most of us are not wealthy enough to live in those areas.

Depends. But it is pretty bad. People steal cars and there are tons of gangs. They rob and usually kill people. It is a booming town but dangerous.

I live about 20 minutes from there and it's not as bad as you think it is.
