i really want my X -best friend back... he was the funniest, most cheerful guy i'd ever meet. and i blew it. i told him that i felt that he was ignoring me and he didn't want to be my friend anymore. is it my fault??? or is he being childish? i really cant tell. but i've been so busy beating myself up about it, i never have any time to think about all the good things i have to look forward to. (i cant think of anything but i'm sure their there)

You told him this and he responded by ditching you altogether? That's childish indeed. If you felt that way, that he was ignoring you, there must be something to it, it wouldn't come out of thin air. It could be that you were naturally beginning to drift apart, but if that's the case, it would be nice to really know so you could get some closure. Stop beating yourself up and get him to talk about it.

If that loser can't handle the truth; as much as it hurts to lose him because of his infantile way of acting, -then so be it. I know it sucks to be honest with a friend you really like, and for that individual to just take it so personal and shut you out-it's just wrong-you were only being honest. In time you'll find another friend-a true friend. Just enjoy the memories you had.

Why did you tell him what you did you should have just told him you felt like he was ignoring you and it made you fell kind of uneasy so to answer your Q it is your fault.

my best friend and i went through the same way exsept she said it to me um i think the bast way to resolve this mess is to ask him to sit down and u know talk to him about ur concerns and feeling and then ask him to express his own it may be wired but it gets things out in the open and makes him and u moire awear of eachother

hope things work out
