i have been with my girlfriend 11 yrs. she does not want to have sex but once a month if im lucky. i have tryed evrything i can think of to make her want to. what do i do? maybe its the age thing, i just turned 40 and she turned 28

Maybe she is just tired when you try.You should take a little bit of the load of housework or whatever it is that tires her out off of her. I promise it does make a difference if she isn't tired.

Maybe she's feeling used after 11 years of relationship without benefit of marriage. Maybe she feels you are using her.
So you are saying you've been together since you were 29 and she was 17? That's a little creepy! 29 yr olds should NOT be dating 17 yr olds! And if you were having sex with her before she turned 18, that's called statutory rape.
I feel sorry for your girlfriend. You are an older man who has been using her for her entire adult life, and she's never had any other adult relationship so she can't really have any way of knowing how much better life can be with a better man other than you.

The best thing to do is talk to her, let her know how you fill. You are always supposed to have communication in a relationship. Why don't you try to romance her, It's not always about doing it. Sometimes you should bring a little spice into the relationship. She might be felling a little upset because after spending and given you 11 years of her life you still haven't propose to her. What are you waiting for? I really don't think it has to do with the age!!!

Very unusual for a 40 yr old guy to want sex more than a 28 yr old gal. Maybe you are oversexed or she has some kind of a problem with her desires for sex.

She was 17.Now she is 28. Maybe it is the age thing. Ask her if she still in love you.If you know that she is maybe its time for new birth control .You didnt say if you have children together.Buy her some new nighties or perfume.Take her out on a "date". Have you looked in the mirror lately? Gained a lot of weight? Then you need to change.

Some women just don't have a big sex drive, try not to take it personally. Get the lines of communication rolling though, maybe it has more to do with HER than you. Maybe she is insecure about something? Whatever it is talking can only help you.

Seriously, I think you need to have a talk with her. Be honest and ask her if there's anything wrong. I honestly think that she either has a problem or does not love you anymore. I would just confront her.

You are not totally giving us a picture of who you are. Are you fat skinny etc. Once a month is no good. Take her someplace as a surprise and spend some money I am sure she will love it.

Maybe she is asexual (biologically not interested in sex). You need to find out for sure and then consider your options.
